Article: Double Dose Of Malones Cures Bullets; Jeff Malone's 36 Points Add To Moses Malone's 32 for Win

Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia, the Washington Bullets hit a meager 42 percent of their field goal attempts in losing to the 76ers. Last night at Capital Centre, they shot under 40 percent but nevertheless came away with a 112-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

There were any number of factors accounting for the difference in the Bullets' fortune. One was Moses Malone. The center scored 13 points Sunday, shooting four of nine from the field and five of eight from the free throw line. Last night, he was six of 15 from the field but ended up with 32 points after making 20 of 22 free throws.
