It's March-the favorite month of the Toronto Blue Jays.
It's the month the Blue Jays are the best team in the American
League, the one with the most pitching, the best defense and the most
runs. It's the month when the Blue Jays are so rich in talent that
it seems almost nothing can ruin their season.
Then something usually does. They've arguably been the best team
in their league the last five years, but they have as many
championships (one) as embarrassing collapses (one).
Which remains the only doubt about the 1988 Blue Jays. Do they
have enough calmness, toughness or whatever it is that has been
