Britain's biggest supermarket saw off competition from the likes
of Marks & Spencer by impressing our chef with the mouthwatering
taste of their strawberries The runners-up were Marks & Spencer's and
Sainsbury's.
But if you're looking for the very best strawberries the head chef
says forget the supermarkets and head for your nearest fruit farm.
Adam believes there's no better strawberry in the world than a
traditionally grown English one.
"In my opinion you just don't get an authentic flavour with hot
house production," he explains.
