Her name is Tiffany; she is 16 and the latest to follow in the
rhinestone footsteps of Donny Osmond, the Cassidy boys and that
ultimate champion of the bubble gum ballad, Michael Jackson. She's
the latest to fulfill the grand American dream of being a pop star
before you're old enough to have a driver's license, of hearing the
cheers of thousands and having enough money to buy all the Benettons
you could ever want.
Tiffany, who performed last night at the Patriot Center, sold
more than 4 million copies of her first album, called, predictably,
"Tiffany." Last September she promoted the record, which had
