A GIRL of six has inspired a charity auction which raised pounds 2,600 to help combat heart disease.

Charlie Ramsey, from Ladywood, was born with just half a heart and has already undergone a series of operations despite her tender years.

Bosses at Perry Barr's One Stop Shopping Centre have adopted her as a mascot and are raising money for the Charlie Ramsey Research Fund.
