TELFORD side St Georges are certain of promotion following their
31-run success at Studley.
The result assures St Georges of a top-two finish, leaving
Shropshire rivals Whitchurch and Ombersley to fight it out for the
other promotion place.
Ombersley have a 29-point advantage over Whitchurch as a result of
overwhelming already-relegated Solihull Blossomfield by eight
wickets.
Neil Slade led the slaughter by taking four for 12 as Bloss were
bowled out for just 79, leaving Ombersley 16 overs to reach their
target.
Whitchurch were equally impressive when they pulverised Pelsall by
236 runs.
