WEST HAVEN -- The company city officials picked to lead the West
River Crossing redevelopment will stick with the project, despite the
city's rejection of a predevelopment agreement, the firm's attorney
said Wednesday. Raymond Lemley, an attorney for Construction Services
of Branford, a partner in West River Crossing LLC, said the developer
has no plans to cut and run.
"We're always interested in continuing the project," said Lemley.
He declined further comment.
Principals from West River Crossing LLC's other partner, J.T.
Callahan & Sons of Bridgewater, Mass., could not be reached
Wednesday. However, Lemley said he spoke for the partnership.
