Article: West River developer to stay on

WEST HAVEN -- The company city officials picked to lead the West River Crossing redevelopment will stick with the project, despite the city's rejection of a predevelopment agreement, the firm's attorney said Wednesday. Raymond Lemley, an attorney for Construction Services of Branford, a partner in West River Crossing LLC, said the developer has no plans to cut and run.

"We're always interested in continuing the project," said Lemley. He declined further comment.

Callahan & Sons of Bridgewater, Mass., could not be reached Wednesday. However, Lemley said he spoke for the partnership.
