Article: School weighs offering Arabic II

The future of the high school's popular Arabic language program is in jeopardy, Principal Bruce M. Hall said Wednesday. While the school will almost definitely offer another year of introductory Arabic, Hall said he's not sure if it can provide a more advanced level of instruction for the approximately 30 students who took the course this year.

The school will base its decision on enrollment in other languages, teacher availability and student interest, Hall said.

Students will begin selecting next year's classes in the next month or so, Hall said, giving administrators the information they need to begin scheduling.
