2 from Quinnipiac win business competition HAMDEN - Two Quinnipiac
University students have won the undergraduate divisions of the
state's "You Belong in Connecticut" Business Plan Competition,
marking the third year Quinnipiac students have won.
Senior Sandra Bouchard of Shelton and sophomore Kirk Patiniotis of
New York each won a $2,500 unrestricted grant.
Bouchard, an economics major, won the undergraduate new personal
business division. Her business is Heads and Tails, an upscale salon
and spa for people and pets.
Patiniotis, an entrepreneurship and small business management
major, won the undergraduate new venture enterprise division. His
business, Vend-Smart, offers vending machines ...
