Article: 7 Arrested on Firearms Charges After Chase;District Woman Allegedly Bought Guns in Virginia for 6 Men

Seven persons were arrested by U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officials after a District woman allegedly bought five semiautomatic guns at a Prince William County gun store that were intended for use by the other six, according to a bureau spokesman.

Arrested Monday night were two District residents, three Jamaican nationals and two New Yorkers who were chased by agents at speeds nearing 90 miles per hour on the Capital Beltway, said Michael Bregman, special agent in charge of the bureau's Washington office. They were arrested on the Maryland side of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

All seven were charged with purchasing firearms with false identification, Bregman said.
