MAHER, Thomas Howard, Ph.D., formerly of Blacksburg, Va., died Monday, February 25, 2002, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Born in Roanoke, Virginia in 1941, Doctor Maher was graduated from Virginia Tech in 1963. He received his M.S. in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Michigan in 1966, and his Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Michigan in 1971. He served as Associate Academic Dean at Thomas More College in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky from 1969-71, and as Director of Program Analysis and Evaluation at the University of Kentucky in 1971-72.
