RAMSEUR, Roy Stackhouse Moore, 83, of Roanoke, passed away Monday,
April 15, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, James
Howard Ramseur, Jr. in 1984. Mrs. Ramseur was born in Chesterfield
County, S.C. and was the only child of the late Col. Roy Crawford
Moore and Gladys Stackhouse Moore of Cheraw, S.C. She was a Phi Beta
Kappa graduate of Randolph-Macon Womans College, Lynchburg, Class of
1939. She was also a member of the United Daughters of the
Confederacy, Daughters of the American Colonists, and the National
Society Colonial Dames. Survivors include a niece, Edith Hurt Ford
and her husband, James A. Ford of ...
