You can go home again, even a third time. Mark Hanks is proof.
Hanks will return to Pulaski County High School, the school from
which he graduated and later was an assistant basketball coach, this
time as the boys' basketball head coach, sources said.
Hanks' appointment is subject to the approval of the Pulaski
County School Board, which meets Thursday. He will succeed Mark
Casseri, who resigned after last season.
Hanks, 40, led Liberty High School to Group AA titles in 1996 and
1997 and a third straight appearance in the final in 1998. A two-
time state coach of the year who was 163-73 in 10 years at Liberty,
Hanks has spent the past three years on Bart Bellairs' staff at VMI
as the No. 3 ...
