Please read the following quotation in the Jersey-laced
inflections of mobster Silvio Dante of "The Sopranos."
"The whole world of radio is hard rock, rap and pop. And there's
nothing wrong with those three things, but we should have more
choices than that. America's all about choices, and I don't feel
there are enough choices out there."
If this were really Silvio speaking, instead of the guy who plays
him on TV, he might add: "And if I don't hear some garage rock on the
airwaves soon, somebody's gonna get whacked, capisce?"
But Steven Van Zandt, much like the pompadoured strip-club manager
he plays on the hit HBO series, prefers action to talk.
