Article: DRUG BUST NETS ONE ARREST IN GILES COUNTY [Corrected 12/21/02]

Giles County's drug investigators found a cache of marijuana, cocaine and prescription pills in a Rich Creek mobile home that neighbors say was frequented by visitors morning, noon and night.

As part of an ongoing investigation, investigators with the Giles County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the home in the Longview Estates Mobile Home Park, off Virginia 219. Investigators arrived about 6 a.m. and were still searching the home by late morning.

Sheriff Larry Falls said the surprise raid uncovered "thousands of dollars in drugs and thousands of dollars in cash," but he was unable to provide any specifics on what was seized. The search warrant and the affidavit used to obtain ...
