Thursday 11:30 to 2 a.m., Friday 11:30 to 3 a.m., Saturday 5 p.m. to
3 a.m. Closed Sunday. All major credit cards. Reservations
suggested. No separate non-smoking section. Prices: lunch
appetizers $4.95 to $6.95, entrees $3.95 to $8.95; dinner appetizers
$2.25 to $5.95, entrees $9.95 to $13.95. Dinner with beer or wine,
tax and tip ranges from $20 to $35 per person.
The problem with the Top Hat Club is that it overreaches, trying
to be all things to all people. More likely, it will be a few
special things to more than a few people.
It's a deli by day, a continental restaurant by evening and a
