Inspired and instinctive, Kurt Busch also proved invincible in the
Food City 500 for a second consecutive year.
Busch, 24, completed a calendar year Sunday where he's shown
marked progress as a driver and team leader. Those skills helped him
win his first Winston Cup race of the season a week after losing a
race by two-thousandths of a second.
Busch robbed the 160,000 fans ringing Bristol Motor Speedway of
the spectacular finish seen last weekend at Darlington because he was
too good for teammate and runner-up Matt Kenseth. Busch won by about
10 car lengths after leading 116 of the final 142 laps.
