A body was found Wednesday in Giles County, but it is not yet
known if it is one of two fishermen missing since early this month,
officials said.
A dispatcher with the Giles County Sheriff's Office could confirm
only that a body had been found. No information will be released
about where or when the person was found until the body is identified
by a medical examiner and the family is notified.
Two men have been missing in Giles County since March 7, when
witnesses saw their V-hull boat capsize in the New River near the
Ripplemead area south of the U.S. 460 bridges. The boat was
discovered by authorities the next day.
