When Jack Kent Cooke wants to travel, he need only summon his
pilots, Robert and Ken, and his sleek Hawker-Siddeley jet will be
ready to roar. If he is bound for New York City to look after his
skyscraper, the 77-story Chrysler Building, he will stay in his
favorite suite at the Waldorf Towers. If he is destined for Los
Angeles to check up on his newspaper, the Daily News, he will settle
into the Bel-Air. On returning to Washington, he is met at the
airport by Harry, his chauffeur, whose duties also include washing
the Cadillac limo and polishing his boss' shoes.
