It's a jungle in there.
Or at least it will be by tomorrow night.
On Super Sunday, K. Stout's modest downtown Bristol apartment will
be transformed from a normal middle-class home with plush,
comfortable couches and end tables decorated with family photos into
a Central American rain forest complete with palm fronds and various
jungle critters.
Stout expects at least 15 friends and family to arrive Sunday
evening. But for these folks, the Super Bowl and its commercials are
merely a prelude. A warm-up band. A minor distraction as they wait
for the main event: the return of Southwest Virginia's
internationally renowned goat-farmer - "Big Tom" Buchanan.
