Article: FIELD GUIDE TO . . . TROY'S 'FAMOUS' CHEESE STEAKS

"Famous" Northern Style Steak-Subs says the sign on the tiny building known as Troy's.

This can mean only one thing: A Cheese Steak, that sublime combination of meat, cheese, onions and grease that is best when it's so hot that all the ingredients - including the bun - become a single, molten mess that's so good you eat it before it cools down to a reasonable temperature.

I'd been told that Troy's could make a mighty good cheese steak. But the Fairlawn restaurant is so darn tiny that I had always driven on past.

Foolish! What possible difference could the size of the building make? Troy's has everything it needs. A nice big grill and two superfriendly cooks.
