Will Soper may not have liked going to school every day, but he
did.
Soper, of Blue Ridge, was one of two 2004 graduates of Lord
Botetourt High School who never missed a day of school from
kindergarten through 12th grade. Ashley Farmer also had perfect
attendance from kindergarten through high school, school officials
said.
Soper, 18, starts his first day of college today hoping that he
can maintain his record of no absences, he said.
"Will is a wonderful student and his accomplishment in perfect
attendance K through 12 is remarkable," said Alan Brenner, Lord
Botetourt's principal.
Soper's perfect attendance wasn't intentional at first. In fact,
