DeLomar Ashford (Del) Woods, 83, of Radford, died Friday, July 30,
2004 in a Blacksburg Health Care Home. He was born September 11, 1920
in Alliance, Nebraska. He was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church of
Radford, a member of the Radford Rotary Club, a retired Lt. Colonel
in the USAF, and had served the Boys Scouts of America as a
Scoutmaster and Committeeman for many years. He was a retired
personnel manager of the New Rive Textiles, a division of Burlington
Industries, Inc. He was also a volunteer at Carilion New River
Medical Center for several years. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Mary Davis Woods, and a son, Jerry D. Woods. Surviving are a
