Article: A FIELD GUIDE TO ... SUPERBOWL: NOT A BARGAIN, BUT LOADS OF FUN

The NRV Superbowl has now lasted long enough to no longer be the "other bowling alley" or even the "new bowling alley."

Now that it's been open for a few years and Triangle Lanes is long gone, it is "THE bowling alley," and it seems to be a pretty good one, passing most, but not all, of the bowling alley tests with flying colors.

(Actually make that fluorescent colors. The NRV Superbowl is all about glowing stuff.)

I visited recently on a weekday afternoon to find the place bustling with kids. It was well-lit and inviting. This is not one of those grimy bowling alleys where you're afraid to touch anything. It seemed clean and well-kept.

We even got to see the lane oiling machine in action.
