WILLIS -- The sultry mermaid inked on Mike Kersey's bicep now
wears a bikini. A patch on the biker's blue jean vest proclaims "Loud
pipes save lives. Jesus saves souls."
Kersey, a 53-year-old who once sold cocaine and ran with the
Hell's Angels, now goes by the name Brother Tank and travels the
country in a tour bus turning other bikers on to Jesus.
On Saturday, Tank preached to a group of about 30 bikers gathered
at New Harvest Ministries, a Floyd County church that sponsors Eagle
Christian Bikers Association, a local Christian motorcycle club.
Tank's message was simple: If a biker as rough, bad and outlaw as
he was can find Jesus, anyone can.
