The owners of a Montgomery County golf course are suing a
Pennsylvania man for breach of contract after they say he bid $7
million to buy the course, then ceased communication.
Auburn Hills Golf Club of Riner and Rose Premier Auction Group of
Ohio, both limited liability companies, are seeking unspecified
damages that they say include interest, attorneys fees and lost
commission.
The defendant, Joseph Rivlin of Audubon, Pa., could not be reached
for comment. Charles Beller III, attorney for Auburn Hills, declined
to comment.
According to a complaint filed last month in U.S. District Court
in Roanoke, Auburn Hills hired the auction company in May 2004 to
help sell the golf course, 10 building ...
