No one will be drinking at one of the Roanoke Valley's largest and busiest watering holes this weekend, because Corned Beef & Co. is weathering a five-day suspension of its alcohol license, coupled with a $15,000 fine, for alcoholic beverage-control violations.

And when it reopens, management is pledging strict enforcement of the rules designed to keep intoxicated people from having another drink.
