A Florida company has moved for dismissal of a federal lawsuit
filed against it by Tetra Holding Inc., an aquarium and fish supply
firm in Blacksburg.
Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium Inc. of Dania, Fla., says Tetra named
the wrong defendant in its complaint last month and filed the lawsuit
in the wrong country.
Tetra's lawyer, James Cowan, declined to comment on the motion
Thursday, saying he would file a response within the next few weeks.
His clients did not respond to a request for comment.
Tetra claims in the lawsuit that Gulfstream ordered thousands of
dollars in supplies in four installments between September and
