The new owner of Roanoke's highest-profile parking lots is the Car
Park, a Boise, Idaho-based company whose owner promised Thursday to
fix any potholes on his new properties.
Jeff Wolfe, owner of the Car Park, noshed at Table 50, a
restaurant in downtown Roanoke, after sealing the deal to acquire six
lots totaling 3 acres from Nashville, Tenn.-based Central Parking,
which has operated here as Allright Parking. Wolfe hinted he might
even lower some rates: "Some may go up and some down. We'll price
according to the market."
Downtown parking prices by the month now range from about $20 to
$75. Daily prices range from $1.25 to $7.
