Saturday night at Lowe's Motor Speedway kept him atop the Nextel Cup
points standings.
Burton nixes the nickname because things haven't been perfect in
the Chase. He suffered a flat tire about 10 laps from the finish at
Talladega the previous week and finished 27th. Had that not
happened, he would have a larger lead on second-place Matt Kenseth
heading into Sunday's race at Martinsville Speedway. Instead, Burton
leads Kenseth by 45 points halfway through the 10-race championship
Chase.
