For months, gently melodic piano music has filled First United
Methodist Church's sanctuary on Sunday mornings.
But many church members can't wait for it stop.
They include Judy Snyder, who has played the pipe organ at the
church for 37 years. She is now playing the piano while the organ is
being refurbished. Two thousand pipes have been added to the organ
from the original size of 1,000 pipes.
She won't have to wait for long. A crew from the Schantz Organ
Co., based in Orrville, Ohio, is putting the finishing touches on the
church's pipe organ.
The men have been "voicing," or tuning, each of the 3,000 pipes
