Did "the Jews" get Fred Malek? Did they bring down the senior aide to George Bush over a matter both trivial and dated? You would be forgiven for thinking so given the manner in which Malek himself left the campaign-with Shakespearean praise from Bush for being, among other things, "a most honorable man."
