Josh Caldwell's fans stand out at Motor Mile Speedway because of
their blue No. 03 T-shirts and their proclivity for standing on their
feet.
This season, they have had plenty reason to cheer.
Five races into the 2007 Street Stock season, Caldwell has found
Victory Lane four times. His only miss came on a night when his 1985
Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS had a broken drive shaft.
The mechanical issue gave Caldwell a last-place finish in a race
when his chief championship challenger, Garry Davis, placed second.
Caldwell rebounded to win the most recent race June 16 and trails
points leader Davis by eight headed into Saturday's event. Caldwell
shares second place with Dugspur's Doug Moore.
