Article: MULLINS CRUISES IN LATE MODEL STOCK CAR RACE

CALLAWAY -- Points leader Jimmy Mullins jumped to the lead in the Late Model Stock Car portion of the Young Engines 200 on Saturday at Franklin County Speedway and never looked back.

Mullins was challenged in the first half of the race by last week's winner Buster Carroll. Carroll kept pressure on Mullins until his car had handling problems. Carroll followed Mullins to finish second. Doug Williams, Ronnie Newman and Nathan Wheat completed the top five in the 75-lap race.

Eddie Young continued his dominance in the UCAR division. Young took the lead from Bill Lipes late in the 30-lap feature to take his ninth win in 10 starts.
