Kenneth Allen Borchardt, 58, the chief magistrate of the 19th
Judicial District of Virginia, which is made up of Fairfax County and
the independent towns of Vienna, Herndon and Fairfax City, died at
Fair Oaks Hospital Oct. 2 after a heart attack.
Mr. Borchardt, a resident of Fairfax City, was born in New
London, Wis. From 1948 to 1957, he served in the Air Force and he was
stationed in Korea during the war there. He was at New Castle, Del.,
when he left the service and moved to the Washington area.
From June 1957 to October 1973 Mr. Borchardt served on the
Fairfax County Police Department. He retired on a disability because
of heart ailments.
