A SUMMER arts festival which would draw visitors to South Queensferry during the Fringe is to be launched this August.

Live music, drama, visual art and street theatre are all envisaged under plans to create a carnival atmosphere on the waterfront over ten days.

A string of venues are being lined up to take part in the fledgling event this summer which will be centred on local pubs, hotels, halls, galleries and churches.
