SCOTTISH aquarium operator Deep Sea Leisure is to embark on
"major" investment projects at its twin attractions in Fife and
Cheshire after reporting a surge in annual profits.
The firm, which owns Deep Sea World in North Queensferry and the
Blue Planet complex in Chester, said it expected the new facilities
to open ahead of the key summer season.
Although full details of the two projects are not being disclosed
until nearer the time, the group said today they would have a
"beneficial impact" on attracting visitors to the sites.
The fresh investment emerged as Deep Sea posted a pre-tax profit
of GBP 1.65 million for the 12 months to the end of October - a rise
of 58 per cent on the year ...
