THE blocked nose, itchy swollen eyes and the stuffy head:
schoolgirl Naomi Cherry would have given anything to avoid another
summer of hay fever misery.
And as her concerned parents Fiona and Gavin watched their
daughter's distress, shut all summer long behind firmly closed doors
to avoid triggering another serious attack, they too decided to do
whatever they could.
So when doctors suggested they could "cure" the teenager's
discomfort and, hopefully, relieve her symptoms during the crucial
early summer exam period, the Cherry family jumped at the chance -
even if similar treatment was once banned amid safety concerns and,
although just halfway through, it has already left them almost GBP ...
