Article: Around town: Boys put best foot forward in walk to school

BOYS at a city school are set to walk to their place of learning at least once a week as part of a bid to reduce car travel.

Edinburgh Academy, in Henderson Row, is launching its own Walk on Wednesday (WoW) scheme to coincide with National Walk to School Week.

The scheme has already been introduced at a number of schools in the UK and is set to go worldwide in October.

The aim is to help reduce the number of cars on the road and improve health
