HOLD everything! Get this date in your diary. The fabulous, the
fantastic, the altogether phantasmagorical Evening News Cavalcade
will yet again commandeer Princes Street for an afternoon. And the
date is... Sunday, August 6.
The greatest show on Earth, provided you let your imagination run
wild. Cavalcade director David Todd is keeping a grip "We had 86
different groups last year, involving 3000 participants, and I feel
that just about right, the happy medium.
"The parade starts 2.30 at the east end and is timed to finish 90
minutes later at the other end of the street."
What's not generally known about Mr Todd is that he is a fiddler
