THE haunting voice of Osama bin Laden will be reverberating in the
ears of President George W Bush as he arrives in Europe this week.
The Nato summit in Prague, which both Bush and Tony Blair will
attend, was to have been a celebratory event.
Instead, Bin Laden's doom-laden message will cast an oppressive
pall over the gathering of international leaders, which begins on
Wednesday.
Bush had been hoping to use the occasion - during which seven new
members will be invited to join the military alliance - to galvanise
support among the European leaders who still doubt the need for a war
against Iraq.
But the re-emergence of Bin Laden on a tape broadcast last week
will make this a daunting ...
