THE head of Scotland's biggest fish farm operator has left the
company as part of an international cost-cutting exercise ordered by
its Dutch parent company.
Cameron Davidson, the managing director of Marine Harvest
Scotland, left "by mutual agreement" just a month after he announced
120 job cuts across the Highlands and Western Isles.
Davidson had only been in charge of Marine Harvest for a year when
the company's Netherlands-based owner Nutreco bought rival Stolt-
Nielsen.
The group, which employs 430 fish-handing and processing staff in
Scotland, found it had too many managers and Davidson was asked to
leave.
His role will now be taken by Hvard Grontvedt, who previously ran
