Article: ITV Digital's future in League hands

CRISIS-RIDDEN broadcaster ITV Digital may yet be saved from liquidation today if the Football League agrees to the latest compromise proposal.

ITV Digital went into administration last month, after saying it would not honour its contract to pay the latest instalment, GBP 86 million of a total of GBP 315 million covering three years, for the rights to broadcast English Football League games, the divisions below the Premier League. The High Court is due to reassess the position today.
