AS HARD as we try, it's difficult to think of a present which will
get the emotional response advertisers would have us believe is
prompted by a box of chocolates. Occasionally it's good to follow the
"thought-that-counts" premise and give a gift that has a personal
touch.
If you recall the Yellow Pages advert a while ago, where a family
had Super 8 film transferred on to video for their mother, you
probably thought it was a great idea.
But technology moves so quickly that now it's becoming essential
to preserve those memories on hard-wearing DVD.
