SCOTTISH teams have received a vote of confidence from the
national team skipper Bryan Redpath, ironically, as he prepares to
bury the last remaining hopes of Scottish involvement in the Heineken
Cup quarter-finals.
The scrum-half will lead Sale Sharks into battle with Glasgow at
Heywood Road tonight with the visitors knowing that only a victory
can maintain hopes of a place in the last eight. For Sale, the match
is an opportunity to restore pride in their first season in a
competition which has so far yielded no points from four games.
