ALL the benefits that the internet and e-commerce can bring to building a business have been obscured by the spectacular collapse of so many new economy firms in the past two years.

Yet the reality is that e-commerce offers SMEs the opportunity to tap into a global market for comparatively little investment and help them to realise the potential for considerable growth and development.
