INVESTORS are increasingly likely to make money from the stock market over the coming year, according to the City's top fund managers.

This month's Citywire AAA Manager Monthly Survey shows that 90 per cent of respondents think the UK stock market will deliver positive returns in the next 12 months.

Although most managers believe the gains will be in single figures, more than one in ten of those surveyed still think investors can look forward to double-digit returns.

This month's survey, which follows the recent market rally that has lifted the FTSE 100 by 20 per cent since early March, continues to demonstrate the growing confidence with which top fund managers are approaching the stock ...
