WOMEN may have taken down many male bastions on their path to
liberation, but they still do most of the cooking.
A survey of 1,000 British women has revealed that 82 per cent of
women still do all the cooking for their families, going against the
common belief that the "new man" is doing his fair share of domestic
chores.
The poll for the women's magazine Prima also found that some 55
per cent of women cook, from scratch, a roast dinner with all the
trimmings every Sunday and one in five still send their family off
each morning on a cooked breakfast.
