Article: Buyers complain that booming property market is making Scots estate agents lazy

SPENDING GBP 40,000 on a Mercedes? Expect five-star customer service from your dealer. Spending five times as much on a house? Don't even expect the selling agents to return your call.

Complacency is creeping into the booming Scottish property market with some solicitors and estate agents failing to offer basic levels of service to prospective buyers, it has been claimed.

Faced with a market where the average property attracts dozens of viewings, agents are aware that even with little effort, a house can attract a substantial number of offers.

Now buyers are complaining about the dwindling levels of service offered in the country's property hotspots.
