Article: GBP 50m vacuum cleaner which proves Dyson is still on the ball

INVENTOR James Dyson yesterday unveiled his new big idea: a vacuum cleaner with a ball device remarkably similar to the one fitted to the innovative plastic wheelbarrow he created 30 years ago.

The multi-millionaire designer, whose futuristic-looking household devices are now the biggest-selling in Europe and the United States, said the ball would make the cleaner more flexible and easier to manoeuvre around furniture and other obstacles.
